"Anke very sensitive to each person’s body, as if she is listening with her hands! I always feel very cared for, very safe and very relaxed after her massages. Without using words, she helps me respect and care for my body."
Siobhan, writer
“Anke felt the condition of my body, made contact and her hands went into an exchange with my muscles. At the end of the massage my body felt amazing. I haven’t slept that well in a long time.”
Tracey, architect
“I enjoy Anke’s massages and I leave them refreshed and energetic. The energy is not superficial and has gone after a day but keeps on working through for a quite a while.”

Treatment techniques
Shiatsu is based on the principle that energy flows like water through the body in a series of pathways, called meridians. Sometimes the energy flow is disrupted or diminished and we may experience physical discomfort or emotional imbalances. Shiatsu uses stretches, joint rotations and acupressure to stimulate, sedate, and unblock disrupted energy, allowing the body to fall back into its natural balanced state.
Rebalancing uses deep and soft connective tissue manipulation, joint release, breath-and body awareness to release muscle tension. The client becomes aware of physical and emotional patterns and learns a new approach towards them.
Thai Yoga Massage is a dynamic bodywork therapy that is based on yoga and ayurvedic principles. The client is guided through a series of yoga postures and stretches whilst applying acupressure along the body’s energy lines. This relieves muscular tension, improves blood circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
Self Reflection: the awareness of what lives inside of you, what keeps you busy, allows you to experience more space and freedom within yourself to live a life you choose to live.
Coaching: through sharing, listening, questioning and feedback a new understanding of yourself can arise which can help you to respond to the lives challenges and inner conflicts in a healthy way.
Meditation: can bring a sense of lightness, openness and spaciousness, which can feel like coming home, a real sense of intimacy with oneself and life.

Biodynamic therapy is a body-based psychotherapy, which mainly focuses on developing awareness of body and mind. The term 'Biodynamic' is used to describe the free flowing spontaneously expressed life energy that is at the core of each one of us. Biodynamic therapy aims to re-connect you with this vital life energy and simultaneously make you aware of what interrupt its flow.
Working together we build a relationship of safety, openness and trust which supports you to connect more deeply with yourself. This may mean connecting to previously hidden and often painful aspects of yourself. Eventually re-connecting to these forgotten places in you frees the life energy that has been held there to keep them unconscious.
In the sessions we will work with rooted talk, biodynamic massage, vegetotherapy, connected body and contact exercises and meditations. The main focus will be on what you are experiencing in your body while you talk, move and being still. Connecting to the language of the body so deeply often creates insights, gives bedding, offers a new perspective and opens you up to more presence.
